Protecting birds isn’t all the RSPB do these days. They also look at other wildlife issues and making contributions to the environment, which in turn help wildlife as well.
The RSPB own nature reserves across the UK, encouraging wildlife to return where the numbers of certain species has dwindled and protecting birds by reintroducing them with recovery projects. There are more than 30 ongoing projects at the time of writing. There are also campaigns and appeals from birds of prey to saving rainforests.
If your interested in protecting birds or protecting wildlife you can help the RSPB by volunteering your time or becoming a member. You could also give a subscription as a gift, membership benefits include a magazine through the year, access to nature reserves and a choice of a free handbook or a seed feeder.
